Tomorrowland Viewliner

While going through some postcards I recently aquired I found this gem tuck in between them.

It's the Tomorrowland Viewliner. There's no date on the photo but had to be taken in '57 or '58. What makes it a true gem for postcards collectors like myself is the image of the purple Autopia car in the lower left corner.

What a nice add to your collection. Good find.

Seriously? This is an actual Disneyland postcard? If so it's one I've never even heard of, wow! I'm not entirely sure if the Viewliner ever even made it to those "fold out" postcards. If this is the genuine article, it has to be incredibly rare! What does it say on the back?

(That same photo that was used in some older guide books, by the way).

Major; No this is not a postcard, it's a photo. It appears to be a print made from an original negative as on the back is the Kodak logo with the date '82. I wish it was a postcard as I also have never seen the Viewliner on a postcard.

LOL, oh well! I was all excited, as you can tell.

I believe that photo prints like this were sold at the Kodak shop on Main Street, and perhaps elsewhere throughout the park. I've seen other subjects, but never the Viewliner.

A great photo nonetheless!
