Art Corner

I thought I would let the scanner cool down a bit and throw out a post. This is Nickel Tour #0586; it's one of the Art Corner cards showing Huey, Dewey and Louie on the Dumbo Ride.

Above them is only one text box; any idea as to why the other two are blank? Was it left open so you can add your own message? Was it an error in the design? Go figure.

That is weird about the text boxes. What came to my mind at first is how the three nephews alway say parts of the same sentence. Maybe the message was too short to give the other two their part? Probably not, but it amused me anyway!

My guess is it gives you the opportunity to personalize the card. The cursive font, and the suggestion that it's a greeting point in that direction.
